I wonder...

Speaking with Darron Schall, we've come to conclusion that there are way too many me too posts that go up on blog aggregators. ColdFusion is no exception to this.

With the probable release of Scorpio (ColdFusion 8) to public beta tonight anyone want to take a guess as to what just about every other post that is aggregated tomorrow about ColdFusion will be about.

I'm going to count how many people jump up and down about ColdFusion 8, but don't actually add anything relevant to the discussion, kind of like this post.

Jason Blum's Gravatar Lighten up, man. It's your and my livelihood. It kicks .NET's ass. And it's flatly worth getting excited about.

Kevin Schmidt's Gravatar Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, very, I've been around since the alpha and am loving all the new features. I just love watching the lists rack up nothing but the same information. ;)

Tom Cornilliac's Gravatar Yeah it does add up to quite a bit of noise in the aggregators but then again not everyone follows MXNA and Fullasagoog so unless somebody in their blog roll post the info....

JesterXL's Gravatar It's the aggregator's fault. Not all blogs have the same audiences; the aggregator just happens to be the same one "most" of us read. It wouldn't be a problem if hitting "next" took forever; if it didn't, 10 bucks says you wouldn't be writing this post.

Then again, I can't live without MXNA, so... bleh...

kola's Gravatar Kevin you have hit the nail on the head. At scotch on the rocks last week someone asked me why I don't post as often. The answer is I try to limit my blogging to when I have something interesting to actually talk about. It increases the noise to signal ratio with all these me too posts!

Dare I blog about this :)
